Let's Unload

A gift, for you

A year of somewhere
to unload what sits heavy.

Someone was thinking of you, and they gave you a year of Let's Unload. It is a small, quiet thing, and it is yours to use however and whenever suits you.

Here is what it is. A calm place to empty your head. You type or say whatever is on your mind, and it gently sorts the pile into what truly needs doing, what can wait, and what was never really yours to carry in the first place. Then it helps you let that last part go. Most of the time it takes about four minutes.

What you write stays entirely on your own device, so no one, not even us, can read it. There is nothing to keep up with here. No streaks, no reminders, no notifications, and nothing that will ever suggest you are behind. You come to it when you want it, and it is simply glad you did.

Your key

Loading your key…

You will need this once. Open the app, paste it in, and you are in for the year. It works on up to three personal devices, so a phone and a laptop is no trouble.

Getting going

Three steps, then it is yours

One

Open it

It runs in your browser. Nothing to download, no account to make, no email required. Nothing you write is ever stored on their servers.

Two

Enter your key

Paste it in the box on the way in. You will not be asked for it again on that device.

Three

Empty your head

Type it, or talk it out. Messy is genuinely the point. It sorts the pile for you.

Open Let's Unload

The honest part

What happens after a year

Your year runs twelve months from the day you first use the key, not from the day it was bought. About a fortnight before it closes, the app will tell you once, quietly, and it will give you the exact date so you can decide in your own time.

When the year does end, nothing you built disappears. Everything you unloaded and everything you came through stays on your device, exactly as you left it. What pauses is the sorting of anything new. You can carry on if you want to, and if you would rather not, that is genuinely fine. What you unloaded stays yours either way.

It will never turn itself into a subscription. There is no card on file and nothing renews on its own. Carrying on is something you would have to choose, on purpose.

If you want to look before you leap

You can read how it works, which walks through every part of the app live, or the science, which is the research behind the idea of getting things out of your head. Neither is homework. The app makes sense without them.
